How does water filtration work?
- Water filtration systems remove small particles like sediment, iron, manganese, and chlorine from your water.
- The filter traps these particles in sizes as small as 10 microns as water travels through it.
- A water filtration system must be backwashed periodically, requiring the unit to be taken offline while the flow of water through the filter is reversed.
- The reverse flow of water is directed to a drain, and the trapped sediment is rinsed out. Once complete, the system is ready to work.
